Personal floating vacation and sick days

Hey everyone, just want to get your opinion. I understand there will be a ton of people cut, but what if we are one of the lucky ones to stay...Do you think they will carry over our sick days earned, vacation days earned, personal days and floating holidays, or start again from scratch??

I am asking because I am in the same position as all of you, but I want to be smart about it. If I am cut, it will probably be in the next month or two (or sooner) and I want to use ALL my time earned.

If I a happen to be kept, I want to know if anything will carry over to the new company. If we have to start from scratch then I still want to use all my time earned off.

Is there anyone out there that has been kept by the purchasing company that would know if we keep our earned time off?

I hd no idea such ignorant people are employed. Either you are a management plant trying to engage conversation, or you are an idiot.

Do not waste board space with such stupid and silly questions. as to minimize further discussion on this top is…….Your earned time will most certainly be honored…no one knows for certain…like everyone else you will need to wait and see.

You really are some fucktarded millennial and this is your first job that your dad didn't coerce someone into giving you. Learn at least something about how corporate America or labor law works.

Jesus, I must have downs syndrome because I really am a territory rep with you effing morons. What the bell have I been doing with my life...

wow pretty f'n harsh people. And downs...really? I seriously hope you dont have kids or believe in any sort of karma. Nor am I wishing that on you because that is some of lamest sh*t I ever read on here. Grow up.

To answer OP nobody knows, its not a dumb question and I didnt see it in the layoff guidelines Brent so thoughtfully attached to our last Q&A they sent out. My guess is you would start fresh with new company likely prorated by time left in the year for sick days etc. but who knows

More stupid people .... Sick days are not accrued/ earned ....... You people are idiots.

This person asks a complex question and gets insulting posts. The answer is your sick days are not accrued. Your vacation days are accrued. The new company however has no obligation to honor your accrued vacation time after 30 days of the acquisition.

Rather than taking any sick or vacation time I would recommend you seriously ramp up your hours to impress your DM. Come in early and work late, and weekends. Don't even consider taking any time off as it will impact your sales totals. This strategy may save your job.
