Permanent Label

Received offer but am concerned about resigning until permanent label is signed by FDA. Any insight from anyone?

For sure DONT resign. The only issue is if you try to work for both companies at same time because start date is before approval. If either company finds out you will be terminated/offer rescinded. Trust me when I tell you, pharma is small and people talk.

It's not that small, remember loose lips sink ships and airplane mode ;)

We HAVE approval. It was just a delayed launch due to the Purdue lawsuit. Now that that is resolved, just waiting on the FDA to sign the final label that they already tentatively approved. But it still makes me somewhat nervous.

I felt the same but talk to your potential manager about your concerns. I don't believe there is anything holding them up from approval other than it just sitting on a docket waiting its turn. They wouldn't spend the money to hire and train a sales force if the drug might not get approved. It's just a matter of time. Launch is in June.
