New to this site and see a lot of inappropriate posts. Please would appreciate a serious reply. Can’t find anything current on line about my question. I work on the research side. Nothing about this posted on the Science board. Does Pfizer still offer a pension to new hires or have they dissolved their pension program? Thank you.

Pfizer no longer offers new hires a pension. It’s been that way for several years now.

LOL one of the many employee Benefits Pfizer cut!
In 2014 Pfizer CEO at the time Ian Reed cut the Pension to all new hires then made decision to cut Pension for everyone (said was to use the Pension money to put into R&D. I attended the Collegeville Town Hall live)
It was also same year he got a $22 million bonus.
So there is NO PENSION AT PFIZER.
If you are employed before 2014, you have a Pension balance from whatever was previous contributed but it is NOT Invested in anything nor contributed toward.

Any questions call Fidelity & ask for Pension dept.
