Any chance in hell that Abbvie extends the pension benefits to legacy Allergan next year? Not holding my breath, but hoping they don't keep it for legacy Abbvie only.

Abbvies pension isn't all that. I would much prefer the lump sum given at retirement like Solvay.

I think Knoll is option between lump sum or monthly pension

Agreed. Too many people assuming the pension plan remains 100% funded and solvent through some very rough times ahead. There's a good chance that pension becomes a bait and switch.

Just let L-Agn keep our 8-12% 401k match and unlimited PTO and all will be well

Check out the email which introduces ASP+ which starts for all new hires and Allergan employees next year.

The ASP+ is the future. Two year best on discretionary match. The pension is basically only funded for those who are retired and those still part of the plan.

Your recruiter lied. 3 weeks vacation regardless of experience, non-negotiable.
