Someone just told me a "certain company" hasn't paid the rent on their hoover location in 3 months. They want to move out but are negotiating with the lease holder because they want some money before allowing them to move their stuff (collateral) out.

Anyone heard the same?

The only thing the employees in the Hoover building have been told is that the move has been delayed. No reason for it. JM has rarely even been seen and now there is a consultant there talking to supervisors and managers. No-one even knows from day to day if they will even have a job.

. Folks. These are all signs, the company is in a sales process.

BC is preparing to wash it's hands of this place, liquidate, and sell everything off. No one is buying this company
oh grasshopper. So much to learn. There used to be a shop called Liposcience. Their growth was fueled by a company that practiced illegally. When that company fell so did their volume. Big. Yet they still managed 45 million a year in revenue with slight negative profit. LabCorp bought them for $80 m. I can tell you it was about market share/samples doctors wouldn't give up. To certain acquirers Atherotech has value.

So simply said. $0 EBITDA makes the banks angry but other labs will buy. So bye!!!

Bottom line is that VAP is not an automated technology like NMR. That is a BIG drawback. It is labor intense, has antiquated centrifuge technology where that samples are each manually extracted from the rotors with a needle nose pliers! Yeah, there's value for you.

If docs want to order an NMR test, they click a mouse and the patient goes to the hospital lab and get it done. This company is antiquated and obsolete

At close to $1,000,000 in RENT they should probably think about filing chapter 7, IF that's possible. I hope everyone has found jobs or is at least looking because I just don't see a way out other than them filing. Just keeping my figures cross that the current employees receive their paychecks.
