Paying The Price For Poor Leadership

Thanks to our inept senior management team we have no future at Astellas. We don't have a vision, clear goals, near-term pipeline or any sense of where we are going...just happy to be making our sales number every month and praying generic tac, DLA and adeno don't kick our ass.

Meanwhile, all we hear from senior management is how great it is to work here, TBO and other bullshit! Stop the f'n madness! Someone in Northbrook better start showing leadership instead of this cowardly self-preservation bs and come up with a plan besides downsizing! Please...I'm begging for all of us here in the field, get your head out of your ass and save this sinking ship!

Or you could leave and try to find someplace better.

Looking for info. On 401k, pension, health benefits, car, expense budget, paid time off, company holidays , culture , meetings, sales tactics , 10+plus years in Pharma , so I know the BS but just looking for the facts , I can weed thru the dumbass comments that will follow , thanks for the info.

Unfortunately, the best days are behind us. This was a company on the rise, but last few years have been typical pharma bs. Products are old and way overpriced, focus is on protecting mkt share and hoping generics don't kill us. Managers scared by senior management to hit targets or else and sales rep turn-over is extremely high. Sales meetings are basically frat parties...think pre-CIA behavior. If you need a short-term job, take it, otherwise look for a company with a solid pipeline that will be relevant in a few years.

Eli Lilly is in the same exact mess no upper management with guts, no pipeline, a series of pipeline failures, lay offs (last April and again this April), people leaving in droves they hate what their company has become.
