If one needed - for a dissertation - to survey patients and/or general public as to their perception of Merck, what would be good questions to ask? Would it be on subjects like Trust / Pricing / efficacy of the products / Perception of Management / Executive Compensation? Many thanks in advance for good questions to include. If you are asking on an Agree - Disagree statement then:

- Pharma companies are willing to pursue illegal marketing practices because the fines are proportianately low in comparison to the massive profits.
- Pharma Companies care more about shareholders than patients
- Martin Shkreli was justified in raising the price of Daraprim by 5000% ($13.50 to $750) because of the value that the drug provides.

and if the question list is long, you can place other questions re. other examples of massive drug prices in comparison to normal profits, taking into account research / production etc costs that make up the real cost of the drug.

- If a Pharma company produces a life saving drug, does this entitle them to take your entire life savings in order that you may live a few extra years.
- I am concerned that Pharma companies try to block generic drugs
- Pharma executives are paid excessively
- I find the direct to consumer marketing very helpful.

If Hillary Clinton has harsh words for Shkreli, then why not she be consequent and also criticize Gilead, and others, like Novartis (for increasing glivec / gleevec from $20000 to $ 84000 ?)
