Patient Access Specialist positions

What’s it like working in Access for this company? Are there large territories? What is the base pay and bonus as well? Do you get a company car or are you reimbursed for the miles? Do you have pretty good benefits?

Given that we have signed on with all the big box SPs, you are going to spend a lot of time trying to figure out where patients are in their systems, why they haven’t communicated and why offices don’t know what is going on.

someone should be fired over this decision.

Yeah, Accredo is the worst.

2 Patient Access Specialists resigning 2 weeks apart. Sounds like a great opportunity.
I’ve had my eye on these positions. Just curious why they left. From what I can tell they seem to be hiring a lot for rare disease. How large are the territories? And what is the Patient Access Specialist actually allowed to do?

Unless you are desperate, do NOT come here. Shit is getting bad (although it has never been good with a bunch of Novo rejects running the show).

Woke jokes. More people are leaving, shit coverage, shit leadership. Plenty of better opportunities.
I am getting desperate but a few people I’ve been in touch with at Ascendis are suddenly gone. What the hell is happening? And I asked my friend who is still at Novo about some of the former Novo people at Ascendis. It does look like Ascendis got the trash.

I wonder if most offers were rescinded that were meant for the PTH expansion. I understood that the plan was to recklessly oversize the teams for this launch.

Thank you for the response and pointing that out. I am trying to figure out if they have too many positions and layoffs are inevitable. I saw so many sales jobs posted I was confused because the recruiter referred to it as Endocrine/Rare Disease. How many reps total does Ascendis have? How many do they need?

Wait to apply, interview, or accept any offer until after May 1. Going to be some interesting things going on (not necessarily good). Look at the recent company press release and stock comments.

Ascendis is paycheck until you find another job. Reps and Patient Access Specialists are all looking to get a much better opportunity. Leadership is a woke joke, you're not missing much if they passed on you.
