Pain contract 6724

what abbott drug? They are citing preference for "advanced degree" as well as the "ability to handle ambiguity while compliantly driving results" --- what does that mean?!

The base salary is 90-95K, depending on experience.

Managers have not been hired. Not a large contract. Huge territories. Car allowance only due to it being a 2 year contract. Start date is in January.

Recruiter did not know who the company or product is. He did ask alot of questions about selling to pain specialists and calling on pharmacies. I have a feeling it is not a new product.

Purdue would not pay a $90-95 salary through a contract. No way.

I had the DDI phone screen this morning. 6 questions like everyone else has said here. "What would you do if.....a high potential doctor that you have been trying to see for a long time finally agreed to see you on a day when you have an appt with an office where you will be inservicing them on the administration of your drug." "What would you do if ..." etc etc.

The interviewer said nothing about the company or drug.

Cry baby, go back to your room. It is Purdue! Management is keeping the name hush hush. Speaking of hush hush, you should shut your trap until you know what you're talking about.....unless you are management and you don't want anyone to believe it. It is a Purdue contract.

with the exception of a handful of spots these contract positions with Janssen are filled.
Also although the $ is nothing to sneeze at the originally quoted $90-95K is more like $80-85K and large territories. If you look at the Quintiles pain thread you can see some turned down the job as they felt they were happier in current positions-
