Pain Certification

Why are we not getting paid for our completion of this course???

Cant get an answer anywhere. What happened to our cultural values of trust and collaboration.

Group 1 was paid - why not the rest of us???

What are you smoking??? Do you really think people get paid for training? You're either a complete idiot or just trying to write something stupid to stir something up and worry someone.

An email went out in November that they were not continuing the pain certification "at this time", because they want to focus on all the new launches. They were finishing up with the group that was completing the first set of coursework.

The reason-- they know that they are going toward a contract sales force; therefore this is not on their list in 'incentives" for the direct hires that are still here at this time. By the end of the year, there will be so few direct hires it will not matter.

Obviously YOU did not read the email sent by Stacy regarding the pain certification program. Groups 2 through 4 were given the option of continuing with the program or deferring to a later date with the remaining groups after launch. As we now know, the program is not going forward, with little consolation to those individuals in groups 2 through 4 who decided to remain in the program. For those of us who made the decision to continue with the program, we completed the required module reading, testing and group case study. If the intent was not to honor your commitment to us, if we passed, than the program should have ended and such stated in your email Stacy.

I'm a part of group 3 and recieved solid intel that we ARE NOT getting the payout. Originally, it was supposed to be paid out the same time as Q1 bonuses (this Friday), but executive management decided that the pain cert program did not line up with the company's new strategy. Also, many reps that were paid in the first group are no longer with the company. Mallinckrodt basically gave away free money along with a "pain certification" to reps who left for the competitors.

Of course.....why would they ever honor their commitments? It is kind of like increasing the goals 2-weeks before the quarter ends. The absolute WORST company I have ever worked for in pharma. Just when you think it can't get any worse, it does.

I really believe that they are doing everything in their power to push out legacy reps. If they can make it really miserable, they we will all leave. How else can you explain their total disregard for their employees? I guess the cultural hallmarks really are a joke!!!! Much like this company.

I guess I better get working on the resume like all of the other accomplished reps.

How funny!! The book should be titled "Big Boy's Case Study: How You Can Demotivate your Salespeople and Force Them Out in 6 months". It would be a NYT best seller.

I love this sexist company, it doesn't get any better than this.

Who left in first class? Did they get paid?

Second class get paid yet?

Thanks for the extra work and promise of pain certification bonus that will never come.
At least the later classes could have been paid on a scale for how long they had been with the program.
