It depends on your State of employment. The lawsuit doesn't cover all States. Also, some States had you automatically included in the class action unless you opted out.

Where are they going to appeal ? The supreme ct already refused to hear it .
They may have other avenues to delay but not appeals or retrying the case
These assholes will have to pony up the dough sooner or later

In New York you would have had to opt out otherwise you are in. That is a good thing as I did nothing when the paperwork was sent years ago. Now that I was let go in December I will still get another payout from Novartis.
 






You people are so stupid! Overtime lawsuits could change the whole industry....for the worse! Had you really rather punch a clock, and be paid much less as an hourly employee?? Get real!
 


















All the hourly will do is weed out the reps who are not driven or doing there job! Its a great thing for Novartis and the reps who overlap with lazy counter parts! Novartis is finally doing what's needed to be done for years! After all the lay-offs, Novartis is gonna rise to the top as the #1 company in the industry! Mark my words! We do deserve overtime tho! I work every night in my office to evaluate the best plan of action!

The overtime lawsuit only covers a certain period of time. Reread the lawsuit to find out the years covered. It will probably be a similar payout as the Velez case, a month has a certain dollar value and that is multiplied by the number of months worked.
