Can someone please explain how outsourcing the acct payable to India saves money? Vendors are in an uproar 3+ months to pay. Vendors declining work. Procurement making decisions on services/products they know NOTHING about.

This is not a place to be in '15 and beyond. S&N is sinking faster than an Air Asia jet in the Pacific ocean.

When you're dropping your prices and eliminating reps, the only other place to drive margins is via outsourcing and eliminating overhead. Forget the AP departments, S&N has plans to outsource every function they can. Their value is in product breadth that allows bundling, existing global sales channels, and product validation/registrations. Literally everything else can be bought, rented, or licensed. Yep, I also think this reminds me of the pharma model.

They have a long standing reputation to uphold as a deadbeat company - this is merely a new excuse

It appears that someone (out,oui) is setting company to be bought. All services are being outsourced making a sale more attractive
