Out of cash?

Are you guys still around? Went to an OB meeting last week in DFW where everybody was exhibiting except you!! I asked the organizer why you werent there and she said she heard from anyone in a year and had the wrong contact number.

Well, consider this hypothesis: if the existing reps are indeed not doing well, maybe not getting Q3 commissions due to cash flow issues or maybe not getting enough sales to make quota, they might leave. If existing reps leave for better jobs, then there is a need to hire new reps. It doesn't disprove the claim of the poster above stating that cash is short, in fact it could be a cause for having to replace a lot of reps under this hypothesis.

You fucktards are idiots.

You still think so? Ariosa was forced to sell out at a fire sale to Roche. Ariosa was out of cash and facing a now-joined Illumina and Sequenom (who settled their patent dispute and now will tag-team Ariosa).

Seems like you're the idiot here. Don't make any big purchases, because you won't make it past next March, if even that. Roche only needs a small handful of technical people to transfer the tech to Roche Diagnostics in Pleasanton and then San Jose is closed. And Roche doesn't need any Ariosa sales people. None.

How'd you like them apples, sweetie?

Not bad for some idiots.

We got quite the business expert here! I laughed so hard reading this I about choked on my coffee. To the author of this fine business strategy: you will always work for people like Ken. You are not as smart as you think.

Yeah, the embarrassingly blown IPO was a real achievement of business acumen, as was the loss of LabCorp, the dramatic drop in sales, and the alienation of the key instrumentation partner, Illumina.

Friggin genius moves. The board told Ken to sell it and sell it fast before the money ran out. Venrock wasn't going to cut any more checks to chase their sunk costs. Luckily they got Roche to bite on the bait.
