Otsuka here. I read the posts and aside from the juvenile at the end, it seems you all don't understand the bigger picture. The truth is we don't 'need' any of you. We could have easily rolled your pitiful product into our bags and moved on. I don't understand why we feel the need to hire anyone from Avanir including your weak leadership disguised as managers. My manager interviewed a few of them and was laughing at the quality of people seen.
Just be happy you have a job. Quit later if you want to but at least you have some time to prepare your next step. Stay if you want to, also. Just don't complain if you do or expect a raise for taking you on.

Actually Otsuka “insider”….you guys were the clowns for buying Avanir to begin with. This company has always been a circus and now we have the last laugh!! You’d have been far better off developing AVP-786 and leaving Avanir alone to sink or swim. And we are swimmingly profitable FYI. Instead, you assisted in this slow death, so thanks for the lifeline. I’ll gladly sell Nuedexta proudly and know who the real losers are with a great big smile on my face.
