Ostomy division

Got a call from a recruiter about an opening selling ostomy products...

1. Who are the main call points? (i.e. physician's, WOCN's, etc...)
2. Whats the realistic compensation? Recruiter is saying $125k - $130k at plan, but is the average rep at plan or are a lot of people really only making $100k?

Thanks in advance!

You would be mostly selling to WOCNs and from there negotiating with hospital Materials Management to get it stocked on the shelves.
Average rep makes $125k. Those at the bottom are bringing in about $100k and those at the top are at about $150k. Good company, nice benefits, car, and vacation time.
The division just went through a reorg and Ostomy has a new Sales Director. Not sure what changes he'll be bringing.

Thanks. Any upward mobility in the company?

Minimal opportunities for advancement. Leadership has recognized the flaw and trying to implement new programs but they are mostly advancements within the Territory Manager role.

You earn 3.4 hours of PTO each week which gives you 176 hours or 22 vacation days each year, plus 9 or 10 holidays. About 31 days off, not to bad for a new employee! If you don't use all the PTO that you've earned in a year you can roll over 80 hours to the next year.

What does life look like after selling ostomy products for Coloplast? Where do people tend to gravitate towards after leaving? Thanks!
