After the holiday weekend, Todd takes a promotion. Health system VP leave after two years (followed Robinson the Alkermes) and RSD in the west leaves after only 5 months on the job.

Any insight?
 






Could this mean the end of Health Systems? Outside of the KAM position, the rest are a drain on our resources. The FRMs get paid more than DBLs with no real need, and the hospital representatives get paid to give away product and a bigger bonus plan than TBMs. Makes a ton of sense. What RSD left?

KAMs are useless as well. The majority of them do NOTHING. They need to go or at least be reduced.
I do agree that Todd is an idiot and in over his head though.
 






I don’t know that he’s some genius, but who are the common denominators to the free fall we’ve been in the last couple of years? It’s not him.

I can’t keep up with the all the different names and titles that have been shuffled around under Pops but above field VP’s the last couple years.
 






Wait until people get their Q1 payouts under Todd’s new IC plan. The exit doors sill be flooded. If your at 90% to goal, expect less than 70% of your bonus. It’s drastically worse below 80% will get you around 40%. Thanks Todd! Go google a definition.

Something I’ve never been able to understand about this sense of entitlement across pharma... why would you expect a bonus payout at less than 100%? Incentive compensation is for performance above goal. Up to that point, it’s called salary. Get over yourself.
 






You clearly do not work here or in sales. Ever look at the goal setting methods? Ever look at goal attainment? People make PC here without being at 100% to goal.
This isn’t big pharma. It’s specialty sales. There was nothing wrong with the previous compensation plan. Go back to your cubicle pal.

It’s set up that way design. Expectations always overly aggressive. One incentive period a hero. The next a zero. It’s done to control the budget. Nothing more. Nothing less.
 






Alks is in turmoil. Multiple missteps in hiring of Robinson, Todd, etc. They have done nothing but create a wake of havoc. Talented SRDs fired. New guy in West lasted all
Of five months. Why? Incompetent or didn’t like what he saw? In any event a pretty bad job either in selection or retention. Now two new positions posted 8 months after STDs were let go. It’s like a game of musical chairs and a bad one at that. And what’s the over under on approval for 3831 given our stellar job impressing the FDA with 5461. It’s a job but not much more than that

"Outside of the KAM position"!!! LOL!!!! KAM's are the biggest waste of money in all of Health Systems. Have you seen their IC Plan???? It has absolutely NOTHING to do with sales or increasing sales. How they snuck that one through is beyond me. That was probably one of the funniest posts i've ever seen on CP, though. Outside of the KAM positon. The FRMs get paid how much to do what...set up iAssist and call the HUB? That certainly justifies 165K base, and an AD tile. We don’t need them, KAM, FRMs, HBMs. Reduce their headcounts, save lots of money!
 






Attention TBMs and DBLs:
You are terrible at selling. You have no excuse. You blame everyone except yourselves. Leadership on the addiction side is incompetent. Your sales messaging is incoherent. It looks like the Aristada team is finally gaining momentum; arguably due to leadership in sales and marketing. It’s hilarious listening to Vivitrol DBLs complaining about their cross functional partners when you’ve been never been held accountable for anything up until now, including competitive selling. You think your Veeva engage interactions are impactful? You act like the market leader complain about access challenges, data reporting, and everything but the fact that you can’t sell. You are the worst field reps in industry. You are disorganized and desperate. We can’t wait for Todd to lay you losers off.

Oh, the hbms. So sad. Little ear man koto hBL NorCal worked his magic to get another HBm to leave. Wake up Alks, how many more good people need to leave before hr and leadership get out of bed? Hbms need to be eliminated as a whole, but not this way.
