Pale, well you beat me to it!! If you read this article thoroughly Oregon still has a long way to go concerning the Wylie Liles recruiting controversy. This report says that Oregon is self imposing a 2 year probation but it does not go into detail. I am assuming this is a post season bowl ban which is typically the most common self imposed punishment? Damn, Oregon still has not met with the committee on infractions.

Don't worry BroncoBoy is not on suicide watch yet. See he will just pick another flavor-of-the-month team to root for next year. Whatever team ESPN is giving way more pub than they deserve.

I actually feel sorry for Oregon. A team like Auburn can get away with just about anything and Oregon is on probation. See Oregon has to learn from Auburn that you have to hire a very good NCAA Compliance Director who has worked for the NCAA and has deep connections there. Then Oregon needs to learn from Auburn that they have to dig deep in their coffers for hush money. Maybe Oregon will get it right next time they decide to commit recruiting violations.

I am sure Chip Kelly did not know anything about this and it did not influence him to become the new head coach of the Eagles.

Chip Kelly, in this situation, is like Pete Carroll. They both jumped out of the car before it burst into flames.
