Run away now. Labcorp will ruin your company just like every other company they buy. Look at Dianon, Genzyme, Monogram etc. LCA reps will sell against you, try to route everything on their req's, backstab and generally mismanage your core business. Your CEO is gone already, follow his lead.

was naive and thought things might be better. they are not and will never be. read the tea leaves ... Dianon, Esoterix, USLabs, Genzyme, Monogram ... not anyone of any value stuck around to watch the hollowing out of those fmrly competitive industry leaders.

LabCorp guts them and gouges them like an arkansas lake trout until theres nothing left but bare bones. They don't invest one nickel to take what those org's brought and make them even better. They immediately look for ways to cut expenses.

labcorp is good at what they do, which is do the bare minimum possible at the lowest cost. highly compensated sales personnel are most definitely not part of that equation. just look at they type of tired, worn out, scared "sales" people they employ.

I have heard there will be no layoffs, management will be retained as our business models are synchronized, and the synergies between the companies will greatly enhance the position of both companies. This seems more like a merger than a buyout.

And the "tired, worn out, scared" managers and VP's they promote. A bunch of dildo's that cant find their way out of a paper bag, but they are great "yes" men. They are taught to lie, cheat and lie some more. "it is what it is and I love you man but....." will become part of your vernacular ." ...... put me up to it "will also be a common part of your conversations. The ability to do the right thing or the smart thing disappears, it will become a cluster F.

As I told the Genzyme reps right after LabCorp bought them, they will be on the LCA Comp Plan and make very little money.

Every acquisition has gone exactly the same way. Corporate promises to take care of the Sales people (for a year) then they Squash them.

The one consistent thing about LabCorp is there Greed.
