How many would voluntarily take severance if offered?
How many would voluntarily take severance if offered?
You sound like a miserable human being. If you're not happy, take ownership of your own circumstances and change your situation. At least 2/3.
Anyone that is sincerely happy to be here, is a turd.

They should offer it, I most likely would. More layoffs are now on the table after that vacation policy update IMO.
Explain poster. More layoffs are now on table after that vacation policy? Just want your rationale?

I didn’t type this, but now we have no incured vacation time. So if they do lay off they don’t have to pay for any unused vacation days.

I'm not the poster, but that is immediately what I thought when I saw the actual policy. I asked my spouse to read it, who is not in pharma but in another big corporate sector, their response was they thought they were either trying to get out of paying PTO to employees they just cut or they were doing this for the next round of layoffs. The last day of employment for those who were laid off was not Dec 31st, but in January after this policy took place, no?
I am all ears for another explanation, is that how they do it in Denmark? If so then I will stand corrected.
I'm sure they don't have 'unlimited' vacation. Antone know our Danish counterparts' vaca policy?Socialized medicine in Denmark? Universal Income? Just wondering.
