Open MGRs Positions

Why are there MGR openings in Detroit, Boston, Houston and Philly? Also, why are there at least 40 pharma openings on the company website? What is going on over there?

Nothing is real. The game is to put a show on for an immediate buyer. Whether they truly hire these people or if it is just for show is unknown. Just don't believe anything you see or hear from this company.

A potential buyer is much smarter than they think and will see through this BS.

These are all acts of desperation on the part of management. When we ask questions we are told vague and different answers by everyone in NJ and NY.

The plan is probably to over hire sales reps and then weed out the sales reps that they think are under performing. Stage one is to hire like crazy. Stage two is to set very aggressive sales goals. Stage three is to let everyone go that does not meet the targets.

Seems like it would be expensive to hire so many people. In reality it will not be that expensive because if you lay off the reps that have been around for awhile and replace them with reps that will take lower salaries plus in the end keep the sales force numbers the same or decrease the sales force the overall expense of this initiative will not be that much.

Save this insane explanation for any chump they might try to sell B&L to, it has nothing to do with the declining business reality of the B&L product line. This company is worth less each day and the churning isn't even real. They say they're hiring new people whereas alot of slots just get posted but there is no real hiring going on. It is all smoke and mirrors for outsiders. The guys in management are worried that outsiders will read these postings and get clued in, so be it. This company is riddled with cancer and insofar as the outside world is concerned it is in complete denial.

The outside world knows that B&L is a disaster and that the current management is playing as many silly games with false job postings, exaggerated product claims, and bogus sales projections to lure in a buyer.

It is just sad really. Companies like these should be purchased by people who want to keep what they buy and make it work. Buying with the intent on selling is a recipe for disaster.

Companies with mainly an unprofessional work force and a simple product line could be purchased by a private equity firm and turned around because there are probably three or four hard decisions that have to be made to make the turnaround a success.

In the case of B&L there are a lot of really smart professionals making sure that they look out for their careers first and the company last. The amount of work in finding out who is telling the truth and who is playing games is impossible. The product line is too complex for a new president to not be fooled by managers who have survived years with very sophisticated BS to Presidents with business degrees that don't understand the technology and so can get duped so easily.

I am glad I work for a company that has leadership with technical expertise to know when BS is coming their way. This blind leadership will likely lead this company over a cliff.

If the postings are not real what is the reason for the postings in the first place. You would think that companies with the kind of money needed to buy B&L would be able to identify this type of fraud easily. It is more likely a hire and replace strategy.

No, more like a strategy for Perry and his band of idiots to make it look like they are doing something for their boss. It makes it seem like they have a plan to get rid of low performing territories, split the products, and hire more reps. It's just a shell game played at the senior management level. They continuously shuffle the shells around and keep their bosses guessing. Reps and managers are just the pawns in their strategy- they could care less about the people because each person is a mere data point in their game.

many of those open job posting have been there for a very long time. I have been tracking one that has been there for almost a year. It has changed once from one nearby town to the next but it is the same job. Has been posted in its current form for almost a year. Really does make you wonder what the game is. But the position has been left vacant for a year. makes no sense. why not fill it, if you are going to post it, in this economy are you telling me you couldn't find a suitable rep to fill it. just plain stupid, but then again that's B&L. Image how many people wasted time filling out applications for it, getting their hopes up. I hope that gives people a good taste of B&L.
