I am only writing this as a last resort. My DM never seems to have any answers so I will try CafePharma! This ship is sinking fast! No communication, no resources, unrealistic goals, inferior coupons vs Alcon, operations is horrible, WE NEED MORE SAMPLES, WE NEED CONSISTENT SAMPLES, inferior managed care coverage, no managed care updates, zero bonus in Q1, late Q1 goals and still changing (allergy). Can I sponsor an exhibit or is my lousy manager just too lazy to process my request? Will Mike P replace Dan? If not, be prepared as that is the beginning of the end! Platinum Dinner in a bar was kind of cool but other than that, we will take Perry back!
 






Good grief. You're that disillusioned? B&L has been in denial they need to seriously compete with Alcon for probably nearly 10 years now. This head in the sand behavior only worsened when Warburg took over. Until Valeant wakes up and eliminates the senior leadership in the sales, operations, regulatory, and quality groups - some of these individuals dating all the way back to the STORZ era, Alcon will continue to wipe up the floor with B&L's behind. There's folks who have been at the helm for 20- 30 years who are simply out of touch and don't even know what is going on at their manufacturing facilities anymore. These folks are so mired down in their empire building, they've lost all concept of the idea of speed to market - so they keep getting their behinds handed to them by Alcon. Sorry there guy, but unless you know how to get some old timers canned, you are stuck with the ideas, fears, and limitations of 1992 thinking. B&L is stuck in a repetitive cycle of a really great idea about 5 years too late, and then they take another 5 years to get it on the market. By then, the entire landscape has changed.

Omg seriously hit the nail on the head. I have been waiting for approval for an exhibit for SINCE LAST YEAR! Samples, STOP DROP SHIPPING GEL! Inferior coupons, could not have said it better! Managed care slipping, yep I'm losing accounts bc of denials, pa's, and callbacks. Let's not even talk about the astronomical goals and how unmotivated we all are bc they are not even close to attainable!
