I love how CB says only 5 people lost their jobs, but than goes on to say that many will be interviewing for their jobs. This company is such a shitty company to work for. Every month they threaten us and make us feel like the work we do is for nothing. Now we have to wait to see how everything pans out and how our interviewing skills go. You know what, fuck the interviews, if you dont know what I do for the company by now, than you should be firing me. My resume is very easy to look at, in fact you send out the numbers every week. Cut the BS and just make some decisions. Well at least we now know that we can take off the next 5 months since we are all going to be in different rolls anyways.

The interviewing BS is a strategy for not having to show layoffs. Most times they know who they are keeping.

Very true.. It's the Covidien way, along with PIPS.. That way they don't have to report a layoff to Wall Street that would hurt stock value..

The purpose of the BS is to irritate enough that people will start leaving voluntarily..... that way COV doesn't have to pay severance.
