The 2011 Lilly Annual Report states that the company has 38,350 employees, 270 more than in 2010 and only about 2000 less than they had in 2009. So Lilly has only laid off roughly 2000 of the 5500 target, which is good news of course for those 3500 employees. Is JL waiting to see how bad the Zyprexa erosion is before the rest go, or has the company decided it can live with that many employees?

Do those figures represent US employment or total employment? Everything is a numbers game at Lilly, from padding the PM to getting darling zero tax treatment from the state, to shuttling goods around the world to absolutely minimize corporate income tax.

Don't worry about Zyprexa. The new RNA statue will be good for $20 billion in "goodwill" haha

Total employees, not including contractors of course -- not sure if FDE's are in there or not.

An electrical storm! Quick, open the hatch doors, and raise the electrodes.

"He will live again," said Dr. Lechenstein with raised brows and fiery eyes.

The electrodes were raised to the golden cow, which once energized, poured forth copious golden milk, glistening like jewels in the light of the electrical storm .. flash .... flash .....

And the Harvard alums spilleth forth raising their chalices to gather the milk. .. ... .... ..... ......
