More wasted time and money when people are losing jobs all around us. Why can’t it be done over MS teams?!!!! No one wants to get together for any type of live meeting anymore!!!! Especially with the culture the way it is

Seriously, this involves a lot of travel for not even a full day meeting. I’m just not sure I can muster the enthusiasm in person meetings require.

Then quit! Whiny little sales reps are the norm today. If your employer wants you to attend a meeting, you get your arse there.

1) You look forward to meetings because your home-life is a shambles. It is not our fault your spouse and kids don't want you there.
2) Most of your team can't stand you. They would rather be anywhere else.
3) COVID made reps lazy? Interesting take, but you don't have one plausible theory to support it.
4) Live meetings are a frivolous waste of money. If there is a prevailing belief that talking about another useless marketing piece for seven hours is an appropriate use of our time, please just do it on "teams" so the company doesn't piss away even more cash.

I would suspect that person who is looking forward to the meeting lives in the city where the meeting is held. For those of us who will spend more hours in travel than we will sitting in an actual meeting room, it seems like a lot of travel for less than one day of a meeting, which could be done virtually.
