Oncology Update 4/2/12- restructuring

ZS associates made their reccomendations. We are in a hold pattern based on sales performance being good for q1. We are doing nothing right now, but their are some things to consider. There are domino affects in place.
1. Backfilling Jim Occonors old job? Not going to happen.
2. Internal mktg. leadership roles not being filled. not going to happen
3. Our 3 drugs in the pipeline?? Who knows? This summer we will see.
4. Not backfilling territories- well obviously heading to some restructuring in the future- who knows when?? Its coming though.
5. C.P. will only have 2 people to lead, she does not have Mktg, Payer, global or other expereince. Her role needs to eliminated and her moved somewhere else. It does not make business sense
6. Oncomize was a failure. And in most cases we do not need bi-ads.
7. Sales force execution not good, access poor, and reps overrated. Job has changed.
8. Onco environment changing for the worst, payer wont pay, pathways, 340-B, hospitals taking over, gpo's want more rebates, drugs too expensive. Our clinical trials based on FDA and not payer.
9. Alleged 27 reps, 2 dm's pnt/amops rep carve out coming soon.
10. CP as a leader, she has lost the trust and ear of the sales force for numerous bad personnel decisions and business decisions- Accountability???????
11. BS and LB as sales directors- poor leaders, most people don't respect them including their leadership teams. its true.
12. There is panic and nervousness all over internal and external.
13. Associates good luck. Its not going to happen for you anytime soon.
14. Major patent expirations across the board and different business units.
15. Our corpoaration is going to change and look very different, hope for the best and hang in there. But things need to change soon.

Oncology does good work to help pateints. We need to break this thing down and build it back up with proven strong leaders iin every function and not politics, favors, back door deals and people who do not have provedn good performance, character and integrity. Thats the problem there- Favoritism and nepitism and bad leadership VP sales, director operations, sales directors down. Thats the truth!
