Oncology reps, How many are headed to Medivation Biotech?

Hey Onc reps, if you have 10 years experience, get on this biotech train now!! 150K plus 50K bonus, options, 800 car allowance plus gas, etc.... They have already picked off some high level Novartis Onc folks and are ready for the reps. Got my interview in 2 weeks and I am out of this sinking ship!! Great drug for Prostate Cancer and a slam dunk. Will only look at reps with 10 year oncology experience. If you passed on Seattle Genetics or Incyte, this is even better!! Lots of old Chiron folks running the show and great culture. Good luck out there!!

Who are the Novartians that went to Medivation? They are co-marketing with Astellas,right? Are they going to put anymore in the field? Lot's of Novartians at Ironwood too if your looking.

Good luck everyone. I considered making the move but the risks didn't outweigh the benefits for me. I have 2 main concerns. The drug is not approved yet and if it does get approved the company is too small to fend off a takeover. As good as the data looks I've seen it too many times that an unexpected side effect pops up, the FDA asks for more data and than the drug never makes it to market. If it does make it through I can see Novartis or BMS swooping in and buying the company and then what have you gained?

Just something to think about. It might also be a great move if they can remain autonomous. The small company culture is very alluring. Again good luck.

Funny how everyone is dropping right before breast cancer hits. Novartis needs to roll out the ol' retention bonus again before all the good ones are gone!! Heading over to Astellas Oncology with my former boss. Hope to see many of you over there. Its time to have fun again and grow!! Don't let these golden handcuffs keep you until you are forced out, much better out there. Be proactive and just be happy that you were able to have a nice long opportunity. All companies turn at some point, and Novartis has made that downward turn my friends. Hope to see you in training, because I know who we are and what we are made of, and we are all better than this!!
