Seriously folks, why is Riva sending the development team to Venice Italy? What a ridiculous waste of Novartis money. Oh, now I remember, he's Italian. Last year, he took his team to Rome and arranged a private tour of the Vatican. Great use of company resource.

Oncology North America and Latin America just got back from their Oncology only President's Club trip to the Four Seasons Maui. They deserve it! Oncology is one of the few bright spots at Novartis.

No but we do sell zoledronic acid 4mg which if given twice a year is probably better than zoledronic acid 5mg once a year. Point well taken. Sorry but we have The relationships.Don't worry it's good for Novartis but not too good if you're the Reclast rep. Oh well...everyone should try to work for Oncology. We make quite a bit of money
Folks it gets better the OGD people were staying 1-2 extra days to sightsee doing work from home from the hotel room or San Marco Plaza. Tremendous amount of Novartis money wasted spending a week on an island off Venice. Riva likes his posh Hilton hotels.
The best part next year is FLORENCE!!!!

If this thread is true, just want you oncology people to know no one in REE made PC due to Zoledronic Acid not hitting goal. That's right a whole sales force missed a trip. What product propelled your division to hit goals to get you a trip out of the country? We were scheduled to go San Diego.
It's all zoledronic acid. It's all fair game! If the docs want to give 4mg instead of a stronger 5, it's their call. Sorry REE!

you are an idiot. derek is in onc clin development and has no business staying extra days in vienna on the company dime. his trip presentation is not a core job function. he gets a way with it because he is one of pablo's pet. its clear to everyone in his group.
go sell some drug and get off the board or ask some intelligent questions why pablo lets his reports waste travel budgets on paying for extra days in venice without taking vacation and having novartis pay for a room for extra nights. or why he lets people give frivouluous talk in japan. derek's is nt the only leach wasting resources.
