Oncology being shopped to Pfizer

Hope this is just a rumor, but they are becoming more aggressive in this arena and are looking to expand their portfolio by acquisition of pipeline. Roy B saw the writing on the wall with this franchise. People in the home office say it looks like PB's here just to pad his resume. Maybe Pfizer could do a better job with Zy.

Yep. With 14.5 billion cash on hand, senior leadership is looking to dump assets for some quick cash and make a quick exit out of the lucrative oncology market. That makes total sense....

If you think the mother ship is happy with oncology's performance you're delusional.

If you think the oncology reps managers and MSLs with experience in the oncology market are pleased with the "mother ship" you are delusional. Hence an exodus of many talented people who know this market is not and cannot be approached like their other divisions.

SB just doesn't get it. IMHO he is an empty suit.

SB is a jerk and is leading this team into the ground. You heard the call a couple weeks ago: "Gilead is committed to oncology." What about being committed to us? What about being committed to patients? What about being committed to clinical trials? I'm nervous still.
