OKC, Oklahoma position

im sure the person did not hit there numbers during the 1st 6 months and got canned.
from what ive been told this is NOT a good company and you will regret trying to get on board with them.

This is a joke, right? This company is about to downsize half of its sales reps, and you are interested in interviewing for the Oklahoma position. Did I get that right?.......
Let's try that again. This company is about to downsize half of its sales reps, and you are interested in interviewing for the Oklahoma position, to come aboard and start your stellar career?
Wow!! All I can say is Wow!

Yeah, Valeant already has 2 solid OKC reps, I wouldn't even think about this. Valeant just decimated their sales team, Medicis is next.

"We must optimize to ensure proper coverage to profit!"

Talked to someone who is "in the know" according to my sources. Told me this yesterday "Valiant is about to clean house. If you haven't gotten your resume ready, you should!" Then again, it's a rumor, and we have all heard these before.

Still no answer as to why the OKC position is open in the first place. If I knew, then I could determine whether or not to apply for it. Any honest feedback on this?

No one answered it because it's obvious. Someone left the company. They have an open position. In order to make money Medicis hires reps. Vacant positions hit the bottom line. Acquisition or not Medicis still has to keep Reps in the field to produce revenue. If you take this position you will be let go when Valeant comes on board. If you want a position for 2 or 3 months tops then take it. If you are asking why the person left that position.. Who cares. They are gone and you will be gone soon too if you take that position.

The honest feedback is that rep in OKC left on their own and this territory is about to be filled internally from what I have heard. Good luck and this is honest feedback!

That sounds honest - but in general I don't think people should be seeking info on this site - I personally believe that 90% of those who post are disgruntled and are not fair-minded - if you can't put your name at the bottom you shouldn't say anything negative in my opinion.
