The list has already been made. Adding one or two more will not make any difference. What Valeant needs is to recruit top talent (or just below top talent) from the three areas, Pharmacology, Vision Care and Surgical to replace key decision makers.

Only an influx of new ideas from new people can change the culture of this company.

Sorry Brett...you aren't going to get any official information from anyone posting on this website, we are just the sheep. Everything you are reading is pure speculation. You should try using linkedin to see if you can contact someone in management if you want anything official...
 






I so want to believe that an investigative reporter is actually trolling the boards and looking out for the common worker. B+L has been on a collision course for disaster ever since Warburg Pincus took it over and then put in a hostile management team. Just read through these boards and you'll find a lot of truth mixed with a healthy dose of BS.
 






None of this is official yet, and there's nothing anyone can do about it now anyway, but it does sound like the 8/5-8/7 time period will be the start.

Well, its known that B+L 401k match is basically 2:1 valeant is 50% so they'll likely find 50mm just there, we known R+D will be slashed, duplicity in global offices will be cut, Rx reps, legal, finance, customer service, administration and corporate positions will be bare bones.

The only places that seem to be safe in the US will be contact lens sales, the OTC division since valeant barely in retail. Between the two divisions you're talking ~300 people really, and whatever is left standing on the Rx sales side.

Seems to me Rochester is all but caput, headquarters will likely be in NJ, if not factually at least operationally. Best bet is 60% of the ~12,000 employees globally are let go. While that may be harsh news, people have to remember, if J&J or Alcon bought Bausch, everyone would be gone. If WP hadn't bought Bausch 5 years ago, everyone would be gone. So, it's not ideal, but there were worse scenarios for everyone,
