If you passed the video portion you are now back in the candidate pool, as a manager we look at many many different candidates in many different phases. No offers will go out to the first wave unless an "exception" criteria was achieved during our first wave of screening. An interview certainly does not mean an "offer" we interview thousands of folks in many various waves, were you told or communicated something different? Please advise.

I did not notice a video recorder in NJ. I called recruiter and he said we would hear this week. I'm guessing I did not get the position if I have not been contacted yet. So disappointed. Good Luck all!
 






Dont Fret. I was told that they wait a week and usually make offers on a Friday to give you time to think. On the other hand I have heard that we who were interviewed recently, Over the past three weeks, were guinea pigs. Who knows, Life goes goes on either way.

Yea that is correct. The folks whom thought they wre inter. over the last 3 weeks were nothing more than quato fillers with no intention to hrie, no matter how much of the warm and fuzzies you thought you got from the hM, u wre never going to be brought on board. Sorry bout you luck but this is the nature of the biz that we operate under, although some org's. Like Sun do hire from the first and second waves of externals from PI and external recruiter contacts, it is usually close to none that actually end up on boarded. YOU always want to be one of the last to interview over these 3-6 week horse and pony shows as you often get the managers at a time of desperation and priority. the first few weeks is nothing more than filling the percent quota and then filtering in the internal and "friends" of the DM for the long hanging fruit.
 






I'm sorry for those of you who felt your were "fodder" for interviews with Otsuka. I was hired 5 months ago for a vacant account manager spot with Neuroscience out West and I can tell you the whole process was seamless. Two weeks total from the time the recuriter called me to the actual offer from an HR person over the phone. To this day I still cant believe it, knowing how many friends I have in the industry out of work and looking. In my case I think I just hit it off with the manager and if they want you then its just a matter of rubber stamping it with the regional director in the final interview. Good luck to all of you, its a crazy industry and you hate to feel you have golden handcuffs on when you get one of these jobs.

Yes, don't fret. U did not get the job. it is a blessing. surely you had other coals in the fire, this one should have been opt. #5 at the earliest. READ the posts they are spot on truth. I have 14 yrs in. All over the map with tenure and P'club galore. And yes the guinea pig ref is correct, none of you had any inclination of being offered a spot. OTSucky loves to run dry runs and pick out the cherries from the interviews then toss the garbage and cherries all in the same back up of the truck. Sorry, there are more ethical no nonsense orgs out there this is simply just not one of them.. Check around do some DD for yourself.

Exactly, however to you who think the Lundbeck saga is over, think again, I know many folks who just got called THIS week for phone interviews. They are still a good 3-4 weeks away from even approaching full staff. If you are out at OTK check them out, MM could be a dream compared to what this company will put you through.
 












Hiring freeze..would suck but unlike..chelsea thera, ironwood,and these other "flight by nt" pharma companies trying to get off the ground with there first drug...Abilify tabs is established and until the FDA.pulls the trigger there is a drug to sell along with established field force until depot is approved...what is the issue?
