Offer for a second time

I am not holding my breath for this to actually happen, and for 3 years. I think we all felt "safe" for about 5 minutes. The reality is...they showed their cards in how they treated people that thought they had a job. Even the recruiters were blindsided. Now I decide if I am willing to play the game, because obviously they will cancel at any time and without warning, probably at Christmas, and I don't know if it's worth the instability.

If you are unemployed it is worth taking it while you continue to look. I agree about the timing, 6 months is all am I counting on. However, I do appreciate that is longer than the people who never get to start. My condolences to those people. It is really a crappy thing that has happened. My thoughts are with you guys, and I really hope something else comes along very quickly.

My first contract was slated to run for 5 years...it ended 1 1/2 year later...everyone in contract has to remember it is 'CONTRACT'...the recruiter, company, dm, rm all can say with straight face that contract is for ______ years..but client company can pretty much pull the plug at ANY time for any reason. Great job, can and should still be looking, potential to get on another contract, etc..all are positives you just have to weigh out.
