I have received an offer and wanted to find out about the car allowance. I am currently working and have a company car and would have to buy another car ( I am ok with that because this will be last pharma job before I finish grad school and transition to another field), but wanted to hear from those in the field about the expenses. Do we end up putting more out of pocket? With gas prices are we losing money?
I will be very honest and say that I am making more base right now than what they are offereing, but hate my job so much I rather go back to pharma. I figure I could make up the difference here with base and commision (there is only a 10,000 dollar difference), but am afraid I will loose my shirt with the car allowance.
