October Layoffs Please put us out of our misery does anyone know the truth?

Well it was said last June that Team 3 would support the launch of Insomnia, perhaps that's all we're doing w the scientific awareness.

Some real empty heads made loser calls on insomnia. Incredible that the team who knew the science and specialists were passed up then bagged with products destined for cuts. Totally missed the ball with this move. A prime example of managers who have no clue on how to make management decisions. And these guys are still managers? Just as wild to see this as it is to see who they assigned to this med.

Well it was said last June that Team 3 would support the launch of Insomnia, perhaps that's all we're doing w the scientific awareness.

If you remember, it was originally said that Respiratory reps would carry the new sleep drug when launched. We see what happened to that group. They're holding off the launch until January? Imrpove-It comes out toward the end of the year. No one expects it to be any better than "okay." You do the math. Anyone on the Zetia/Vytorin team should be looking.

Best case scenario is that some clown in the upper eschelon of this corporation will see that access is one of the biggest problems in this industry. One rep per product x 2reps per territory on a one week routing seeing the few customers left = disaster. This business model can't last much longer. The misery level is hitting even the cool aid drinkers now. Layoffs will help in the short term but I can't be the only loser who's seeing this story unfold.

Team three planned to attend a launch meeting in November for Orexin awareness, plus an additional launch in January/Feb for the product launch. Also, why even bother keeping Team three in the first place? Why not just hire in contract team back in June? I think Team 3 is safe for the short term, unless improve it is a full blown disaster and they stop promotion all together.

Riad and others publicly shared that Insomnia PC launch is now going to be supported by another sales team - and they are looking at all options to ensure they get it right. So maybe EPBU helps with the launch…then eventually takes over?

"Insure"? Not too bright are you? Three quarters of the sleep business lies with PC physicians. Specialty has indeed gone to contract as we don't want to create another sales force. As a true insider I can tell you that PC-3 is the safest spot and will regain diabetes coverage along with current meds. Carrying more products will be the mainstay so beware PC 1 & 2. The model of duplicate employees carrying one product will soon come to an end. PC-3 will soon also be relaunching a product and covering more specialty accounts. There you have it, "ensure" you see the larger picture.

Ditto, heard the same and it is risky only carrying the JJ medicines.

LOL are we doing NCM again? Didn't we lose money last time? Doesn't anyone have a memory at this company???

NCM was the demise of a good reps! Then they dump it the dumb idea! More good people gone for nuttin!

Next time management needs to make changes they need to get it straight that try outs are not a reason to kick peeps out the door!

It's crazy the way things are done. Big impact on the peeps!
