That Opth is the only division at Shire!

That division must have some serious issues with their sales reps! Guess the OBU force isn’t very solutions-oriented.

Sounds like things were much better when KK was running things!

One good thing about KK is that she made sure the sales force made their bonus $s. Current management doesn't care if the sales force gets even $1. I am leaving for Aerie!!

I can add that it is not only OBU sales that is experiencing the disconnect with senior management..many HO colleagues also

The person who set up this thread is obviously new to Ophthalmology. Ophthalmology is NOT A RARE DISEASE, and like oncology and neuroscience these are not areas that are in line with Shire’s understanding- of greater population based, multi disciplinary diseases. Many of us joined shire to help ... but they chose not to listen.

I don’t have the authority to contract with managed care or set sales goals. I have over a 50% market share and growing faster than Restasis; but no chance to hit goal. OBU is broken from top to bottom. Takeda needs to and will blow this place up.
