Why dissolve it? It’s going to be given to the primary care reps when Takeda finally buys it. Or it will be sold to help pay down the debt.
Takeda doesn’t give a damn about Xiidra. I can’t see it having any influence on why Takeda is buying us.
 






Q1 Xiidra performance reported today are lackluster at best, pathetic at worst. They do not justify a standalone OBU. It is a laughable to pretend there is anything here other than bluster. They will quietly get rid of it before the embarrassment becomes to glaring.
 






When a product fails, you cannot simply blame reps. Leadership first and foremost for not getting it right. The manage care team for consistantly lying to leadership about the “90% coverage” shares a lot of the blame.

That's really not very funny. While not smart I'm sure there is the reality that there are people here who do live paycheck to paycheck for one reason or another.

Guess you shouldn't have bought her that Audi SUV or that 4,000 sq ft house you can't afford. Don't worry, she'll find another dude to keep her in the lifestyle she's accustom to.

Xiidra Q1 reported sales were $62 million versus an expected $89 million by investors. That is right, the brand Flemming bragged about to investors has underperformed by -31% so far this year. What an embarrassment! If these results don’t force change I don’t know what will.
 






Because the investors expected decent MEDICARE coverage. If anyone’s ass should be on the chopping block, it’s the managed care team. But wait, shire outsourced the Medicare managed care talks to a 3rd party, what a brilliant move. Allergan ate their lunch, so we threaten a sham lawsuit against Allergan that we all know will go nowhere.

We as reps are doing the best we can to grow a product where a good percentage of the dry eye community has no way to access it. We were off target in Q1 for good reason, and are now expected to make up those losses and a hell of a lot more in Q2. Way to get off to a great start in the morale department, guys.
 






I’ll go right back to work as soon as I’m done getting my mani/pedi........and then a late lunch, but only for a little while cause I really need to get to the gym .

Commercial also very spotty in many parts of the country. Restasis first PAs preventing many from access as well.
