Obamacare will push 2 million workers out of labor market: CBO

Nice try.

It will allow about 2 million to stop working or work fewer hours, because they no longer need to keep a job just for the health care benefits.

Therefore people will be able to start their own companies, retire early, or work fewer hours.

So please explain why you think it is a good idea to provide citizens, in an already stagnant economy, an incentive to NOT work and go on the government dole to receive subsidized healthcare benefits???

Your logic, or more precisely, lack of... is absolutely laughable.

Tell me you're kidding, please. You can't be this gullible.

Lib talking point posted and discussed on CNN.

Start their own company? Unless they are retired and their retirement plan covers their healthcare cost, are on Medicare or are on their spouses plan they will have to pay for healthcare in some way or be penalized for not signing up. No one is exempt from not having healthcare, individual mandate 2014. Small businesses with 50-99 employees, 2016 employee mandate. 100+ employees, 2015 employee mandate. Under 50 employees no obligation or penalty but then the individual falls back into the individual mandate rule or the others in my first statement.

Let me spell it out with an example. I am 53 years old. Been in medical sales for thirty years. I have a pre existing condition.

Thanks to ObamaCare I can now get coverage on my own without being denied! So I left corporate America, started my own company ( independent rep) and I am able to afford my Own insurance. I didn't qualify for a subsidy ( earnings too high) but it was less through the exchange than it would have been a year ago.

Many have done this. It's a good thing. Many new, small businesses and self employed people are sprouting up and adding to the economy.

You are exactly who is supposed to sign up for this plan. You are old with a pre-existing condition. I don't blame you.

Youngsters are not signing up for this plan anywhere near the numbers anticipated, so the bail outs for the health insurance companies will begin sooner rather than later. And I am doubtful your premium will stay what it is without young and healthy people paying for your premium.

I'd like evidence that the statement in your last paragraph is true from sources not politically aligned. Otherwise, your story is anecdotal at best.

Yep... Obamacare clearly picks winners and losers. Congrats, sounds like you consider yourself a winner. Unfortunately, America is the loser.
