Only 12% of Obamanomics #3 goes to construction. The rest goes to unions and another 99 weeks (making it after the election).

I suggest you go over bridges at 100 MPH.

And obama wants to 'invest in infrastructure' building light rail where it is not wanted or needed, and won't be used, but will be paid for by states for decades to come.

Agree, not needed. What's the Republican plan?

Here's the deal, we have too many people, not enough jobs and business has changed. The way they dealt with their terrible downturn in Brazil was to lower their newborn count. It worked.

The way they did it was by raising people's awareness of what it was like to live the good life by living within their income vs paying them to have more babies like we do here.

Frankly, I don't think either team has a plan other than pointing their finger at the incumbents.
 






What republican plan? Do you mean the one that all House republicans signed and has sat ignored since? Or the plan proposed by the debt commission, equally ignored? There's plenty of committees and planning and too little willingness to take any action. All dem proposals cost more than we can afford and they cannot fathom living within a fixed budget. Now if he actually identified works like bridges to be repaired, quit the government red tape and requirement that large projects go to union workers, then we might get something done.

There wasn't any 'fixed budget' during the years your hero's Cheney and Bush ran the country and the economy into the ground.
