During his election, I had two counterparts that were voting for him....mainly because they thought he'd protect our pharma jobs (and vote for the first black Pres).....Both have decided they were wrong!
Too bad they can't get back their votes.
 












I am so tired of you lazy losers trying to blame everyone but yourself for your job losses. "my boss isn't fair" "the numbers aren't right" "mean Mr. Obama is taking my job" If you worked as hard doing your job, networking for a better job, and making yourself a better person, you wouldn't have to find a boogey man everytime you turn on your talk radio. There are many who will succees regardless of who is in the white house but certainly not you babies

I am not an Obama supporter and I don't think he is responsible alone, the problem is that the people that actually knew how to deploy and manage a sales force were forced out years ago and the people in charge ruined it. This goes for all of pharma, not just novartis, and it has resulted in too many reps, too many bad reps, and a total lack of respect by the medical community as a whole.
 






I agree 100% with the above poster. In the 90's there was the cry of panic in the industry with the fear of "Hilliary care". Look what happened in the 15 years after? Huge increases in the pharma sales force, loss of quality management, and the theory that throwing enough stuff at the wall will increase sales. Losers will always blame someone from the government to their managers. Winners keep their eye on the ultimate prize, a better life regardless of where that life may be
 






I could care less what you think of obama. But you are delusional if you think this bill and others have not caused job loss in pharma or that there won't be more to follow as a result.

Look up just how many dollars have been paid in due to the 50% due during the donut hole and the billions in costs hidden in the "jobs" bill.

Companies cannot have this hit to revenue without making changes including jobs cuts. And can you imagine the fallout when these extra costs are passed on to consumers?

Citing Hilarycare is idiotic because it never came to pass. Healthcare reform impact is already being paid by pharma and this job killing bill is just one more hit that might come to pass. Wake up already.
