I'm sure you're choking on some 'fidelity and cleanliness of the ASIC signal' kool-aid as it goes down the wrong pipe, but I agree those folks in the Cleveland office that designed the IPG were some talented nerds. My guess is they all landed great jobs when Greatbatch closed that facility.It is a great device thanks to some brilliant engineering. Particularly the stim ASIC.
perpipherals? You must work for Abbott Neuromod. peripherals. Test engineering is still cooking with gas. "Revisions to the IPG test system software to improve system reliability and align with device performance specifications" approved by FDA 24MAY2017 via P130028 S017.Yes perpipherals are crap but the IPG is not. Thanks in part to their excellent design and also the thoroughness of the testing it undergoes before packaging.
