Before someone says run for the hills etc.

Can someone provide real objective data?

Recent reorganization or layoffs etc

Can I get an honest assessment of what to expect selling Rexulti? (Never sold to this speciality)


Starting salary coming from another mid sized pharma company 4 years exp with good numbers?

Car allowance or fleet etc.

What does bonus look like or total compensation?


How is coverage in western PA?
 






Great company, pays well, $140's base plus $35K bonus.
If you've never sold in the class, you should research the market. Several generics and many brands clamoring for the rest of the business. Managed care favors generics with at least one failure to go on a preferred branded med. Rexaulti is rarely that preferred med.
Company car.
Excellent benefits. You'll be happy as an employee but frustrated as a salesperson. I'm actually surprised you're in the running if you've had no Psych or CNS experience, as relationships are key to competing in this crowded market. Maybe I misunderstood as you just lack antipsychotic sales experience but call on Psychs for other types of drugs.
You will be a caterer for lunches and answer for the primary care type of metrics, but this is not a specialty drug. It's a commodity with little differentiating qualities, so face time and feeding receptionists is your world.

Good assessment above. Drug is great but the marketplace is crowded and we are desperate for new indications. We rarely have anything new to bring to doctors, so relationships are indeed key here. Selling the drug is frustrating. Company is super compliant, which some people will find annoying but i highly doubt there will ever be a company wide Rex scandal which is good. Competitors regularly sell off label.


Layoffs when Abilify had LOE around 2015.
Senior leadership not so inspiring but the POA was very fun this year.
Benefits are excellent.
Remembering otsukas 10% 401K always brightens a rough day in the field. No info on PA access. Good luck with your decision! Im happy to sell here. 80% of people ive met in this company seem to be truly genuine and decent individuals

Appreciate the feedback from you all. Seems like a decent company to work for. Anything new in the pipeline or any indications coming soon?

Seems like pay is a little better than other pharma companies. I'm in a good spot now so would have to be a big jump to leave my current company.
 






salary good $120's+ in California
bonus decent $30k + average
medical benefits PPO not too expensive
401K- 10% good.
car- SHIT! base model, no upgrades. small,, but cheap. $100-$150 a month.
culture-extreme micromanagemnt- all regions, from VP of sales down to Managers.
Vacation- crap! 19 days not 24 like recruiter claims.
Shutdown- NONE- CRAP!
Training- Unorganized
speciality- Very fun. way better than HIV/Oncology/PCP.. Good Access.
Rexulti- PILL DRUG- BORING! Go with the Injectable .
POA- Lame $50 meal allowance. no alcohol allowed.
