Leadership should be ashamed of themselves for taking us out of the field for that. The talk at dinner was how fast we can leave this place. I have only been her for 8 months and already looking. My manager is in my car every 3 weeks. I thought I was hired as a specialty rep not a newbie. My husband is begging me to get out he see's how unhappy I am.

Why should she leave how about treating us like adults. You think field rides every 3 weeks is something that the customer wants.

Sadly your Manager probably brings no value to you or your customers and you just like to check the box. My assumption also is you have a ton of HCPs that don't write. But you think you are doing the best you could. Sorry to hear your hubby is sad that you are not happy making $110k for 20 hours of work.

You need to start acting like an adult to be treated as one. For starters, stop complaining about field rides

The reps complain about field rides because the docs complain about the managers always in the office bringing no value. Novartis believes it should be about their agenda not the customers agenda. Leadership is lacking basic business 101 skills and this leads to 10's of millions of dollars in lost sales. Also increased expenses because of the massive employee turnover.

My manager works with me every 3 weeks and I have never had an office complain about it. They do complain about the other horrible reps that call on them. They are pissed because their rep keeps changing and there could be 4-5 different reps calling on them at once.

The problems are the reps that bring no value. PDI and HAS being ZERO value.

In my territory over 1/2 the offices have complained. According the the other reps in the area the majority of their offices also complain about the manager. My offices state no other company has a manager in the field with the reps as much as I do. They ask what I did wrong to be babysat this much. My relationship with some of the offices is over 10 years.

Really? PDI no value? Who's calling on family practice out in rural areas? Most of my writers are small town folks and see my value.

You must be an ABL who brings no value and trying to met your metric of 4 days a week in the field. You can't sell that's why you watch the reps do it. No go back and play with your laptop and send your RD some stupid report fool.
