AG hasn’t been canned because he is an Eastern Indian Male that didn’t squeal on Dilip and the boys. Anyone else loses their head. Now you didn’t really need that answered, did you?
You also have to understand India is or at least was rife with corruption, bribery and fraud. They are trying to clean it up but DSS and AG built Sun over 30 years in this environment. Do you think everything has been above board ? India has a billion people mostly in abject poverty and a strong cast system so what they say is gospel and cannot be questioned. There are a thousand people ready and willing to fill your shoes there.
The issue is now they think they can act the same way in a sophisticated mature market like the US. No way. We have options and it’s a hot market right now for hiring. I ask we all just stop working and demand change - until that happens I am not lifting a finger more. I already have a job lined up and ready to go so just fire me and I will collect a check for a nice summer off

I do think that 10% of employees are ‘working’, 50-60% are barely going through the motions and the rest are on auto-pilot, having given up on the cause and are riding it through the summer.
If you do the math, Sun is probably getting 25% productivity. And it shows.

Ok, here are the points then:
- AG has no ethics or integrity in business operations
- speaking of ‘grabbing ...’, if he could get away with it he definitely would. He gawks at women in the office. Disgusting.
- he’s a product of his culture. So in some regards, we now better understand some actions (or lack of actions) on his part.
- he’s failed as a leader. No results. None. Missed all targets.
- has no credibility. Zero.
- employees simply don’t give a ____ anymore. Demoralizing at best.
