Not sure if I believe this. Is this true? If this is actually true we in the DBU are *%$*$#-! We all know how much Lilly follows Novo.
 








The DBU is keeping the lights on. The DBU’s pipeline and extensions will be impactful. Now Neuro’s and Derma’s ability to succeed in this environment seems way more diminished than what’s been occurring in the DBU. Who knows what the future holds? But follow the revenue. There’s a glp1 that’s making some bank and it’s about to make some more.
 




The days of more than 1 rep in a territory should be OVER! What a waste of money! What do you do all day even pre-Covid or post-Covid??? God they could save so much money.

don't put too much faith in it, since it is merely a rumor started on cafepharma. could be true, same for us, who knows. so many moving parts in our industry with reimbursement, new govt pharma laws, etc., I think we are all just taking things week by week. do I think we could perform exactly the same with fewer people? Unfortunately that would be a big yes.
 




Novo doing what Novo does. Getting every last second out of their people before cutting them. Cuts to be announced next Thursday and severance / bonuses to depend upon whether they remain in field after told when their role “expires”. No cuts in HO, of course.

Well, it is true. They just announced layoffs today. It will be HUGE.
 




this does not bode well for us, or for the rest of pharma. Novo is a company which is doing quite well financially, outperforming goals and forecasts ( I own shares so follow them closely) and they did in fact tell their employees there will be substantial layoffs.

Agree.....we received our warning last Friday on the email
 








There are many territories around the country that should have been white spaced. A friend of mine is a rep in MN and they said that we could probably be down to 3-4 reps tops due to access. I’m lucky that I have quite a few clinics that see reps. I don’t have a lot of clinic systems in my territory.
 




Rep here. I have worked in MN, WI, ND and IA. Little to no access prior Covid-19. Pretty much everything is shut down. The IDN’s have been closed for years. I’m sure pharma is going to Implode.
 




Too many reps with merely a few scripts. Oh wait, performance doesn’t matter anymore. Check boxes and don’t earn your salary. The people with the best box checking metrics have the poorest performance, Lilly. People seeking advancement have poor performance as well but complete menial tasks and get recognition. Pathetic.
