Notre Dame's Pre-Game Prayer Strategy

After watching ND blow a 24-7 lead at the end of the 3rd quarter and lose the game 35-31 I have to the conclusion that there might have a failed pre-game prayer issue at ND. Jesus just ain't gettin' the job done. So I would recommend the student body and players take a different path. A trial and error approach, if you will. Next week pray to Vishnu. If that doesn't work - switch to Ishtar, Shiva and Krishna in the subsequent weeks.

Michigan scored 28 points in the 4th quarter. Fat Charlie Weis must be laughing his silly ass off. I actually like Brian Kelly. He seems like a nice enough guy. Brian's not a bullshitter. I watched his post game interview. No excuses. He put much of the blame on his coaching staff. I respect that. But Brian better get his ass in gear. The Booster Club and Alumni Association are not going to put up with this crap much longer. And they are going to lost their syndicated national TV spot. There is really no good reason to air the ND games nationwide anymore. The team has turned into a standing joke at all college tailgate parties.

With 30 seconds left in the game with Michigan on their own 20 - the fans must have the RIGHT to the utmost confidence that their team will not give up a winning touchdown to the opponent.

Brian needs to fix this situation and needs to fix it NOW!

Otherwise his butt is going be on the chopping block and his next coaching job won't pay NEARLY as much as he's getting at ND.

I like the guy. I wish him the best.

God is getting even with them for all of the things that their church did to those little boys.

That's just as good a theory as any.

But for as much as they pray at ND it's strange that God hasn't answered their prayers for a good 10 years. I would be willing to bet that over half those Michigan players are atheists.

When a team can take the ball 80 yards down the field with 30 seconds left on the clock and score with 2 seconds to spare, thus beating you by 4 points - let's face it - God is not on your side. It has to be God's way of telling you to go F yourself.

Perhaps Vishnu or Mohammed would provide better results. Just a thought.
