For those at DSI who didn't get this voicemail, you have to hear this story. David Grueber, who is head of the northeast region, left PC1, 2, and 3 a voicemail on Monday. It said, "your regional directors are on the verge of "3-peating" to go to Hawaii and win Gold Cup, so go out there and work harder than you ever have, so they can go for the 3rd year in a row." Seriously, this is what he said! I felt that his vm was completely classless and in poor taste. A majority of the reps have never gone to Hawaii once, let alone 3 times. Also, in this poor economic environment, most reps are struggling to get by and simply pay their bills. And you mean to tell me that this guy is so out-of-touch with the rest of us, that he thinks we're going to work harder to send some directors to Hawaii? That is not my motivation. Most of us are working harder to simply save our homes or for other intrinsic reasons, not to pad the pockets of the RD's and send them and their spouse on a luxury vacation. This guy gets the award for "douchebag of the year" at DSI for being so out-of-touch and completely classless.

And this comes as a surprise? Don't worry, Mr. Grueber doesn't reach the height requirement for most rides in Hawaii.
