Once long ago I had a non comp "offered" to me, after a company purchase for a small percentage of future business if I was a good boy and sat on the sidelines and said nice things about the company. It was a small line and it was at least something. They were true to their word and it lasted a year, then it was open season.
Question is: does anyone do this anymore? Any of you guys been "paid" to sit out your non-comp?
