Valeant has promised that there will not be anymore layoffs in Rochester. Rochester is now a safe zone. I feel sorry for the people at the other sites. Since Rochester is safe it is making the other sites more vulnerable during the 2nd round.

Rochester should be able to attract talent from the rest of the company and also new talent now that it is in the layoff free zone.

Sure stay in the dreamland Rochester morons. MP said BL keeps its benefits for at least one year, but they are changing on Jan 1. He also told Medicis that they will be much larger company long term in Scottsdale, but they are shutting down next week. He also said that they will keep talent between Valeant and BL during reduction, boys and gals, let me tell you who they kept, they have kept their own and all cuts have been in BL. Medicis was part of their d strategy and they used BL acquisition to get rid of Medicis.
Rochester don't get hung up on the fact that cuts are not coming, they are coming, Valeant hates corporate structure and there are a lot many of you left over still.

LOL perhaps you did not read Valeants CEO's memo that he plans to run BandL with less than 100 people in NYC? dont believe me? simply google it... nobody across the U.S. is safe from the next round of layoffs coming in 90 days...

Rochester is NOT in the layoff free zone. You are in dreamland if you think so. MP will gut it more; 6 months to 1 year from now, very little left.
