Last spring Senior leadership in CV said no more layoffs,( the two people above Rbd). They said we were moving forward and were adamantly saying no more layoffs in CV.

This Spring they changed their mind. The only constant is they are still cruising.

I've been at a few companies and heard similar rhetoric. I remember Fred Hassan, CEO of Schering, on stage at a national meeting utter the words that they were not going to merge with Merck. They even offered up retention bonuses to keep people from leaving. Don't kid yourself, the LT has every incentive to keep people at the company so they can continue to generate revenue until they don't need you anymore. Look out for your own best interests.

I’m guessing layoffs soon! Xarelto is growing no sales promotion. No way we need all these reps and managers.
