I don’t work in sales. As many of the sales team though, I too have come from other ophthalmology companies. My time at Shire has been a complete joke. Completely fooled on what was sold to me. Senior management has no idea.

I can believe that people joined in good faith, to help and share what can work in this business. I am not surprised that there is some back handed activity on awards and bonuses

Everyone calm down, the only reason they did not announce where the trip is because they/Takeda has not decided yet. Remember their year is different than ours was and we are not Shire anymore. Takeda pays for the trip so we have for them to announce. No conspiracy.

They also run off a different year than shire. Their fiscal year starts in april. Why would they announce the next location when they havent announced their current year winners. Everyone can take off their tin foil hats now.

Maybe you should glance over the Q4 contest winners sheet that was sent out that included what each individual territory did for goal attainment for each product. Sure looks to me like PC and Vp-club were determined by q1-q3 and did not include Q4.

Huh? There were at least 10 people who moved up to win PClub/VP because of Q4 numbers. About normal. Would have been more if they let another hybrid rep win.
